Lohardaga: BJP youth leader Mahadev Sahu was gunned down by Maoists at Senah in Jharkhand's Lohardaga district, police said today.

A group of Maoists opened fire on Sahu, the block president of BJP's youth wing last night, according to superintendent of police Subodh Prasad.

Prasad said the Maoists had branded him as a police informer which he never was.

BJP leaders condemned the incident.
