Kochi: The death toll in Friday's Moozhiyar power station blast, has gone up to three with one more person succumbing to injuries here late last night.

KSEB Engineer Muraleedharan Nair (53), who had suffered severe burns in the blast on Friday succumbed to injuries at a private hospital here, hospital sources said.

Two person had been killed and three others including Nair had been shifted from a hospital in Kottayam to Kochi last evening.

The blast took place in Fourth Generator of the Sabarigiri Hydro Electric-Projects.
