Snowstorm kills 21 in Mongolia

Ulan Bator: At least 21 people have been killed in snowstorms since Monday that swept through seven provinces in Mongolia, officials said Wednesday.

Around 51 people are missing after the storm, which also damaged buildings and other infrastructures in the provinces, the General Authority for Emergency Management (GAEM) said.

Snowstorms usually occur in spring in Mongolia.
