Gujjar leader
Wednesday, May 28, 2008 21:39 [IST]

Karwadi (Rajasthan): A doctor examined Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla here this evening and said his condition was "not very well".

"I cannot tell you in exact terms the condition of his health as that is a professional secret. Although I can add he is not very well," Dr V S Chaudhary said.

Dr Chaudhary, who works in a hospital in Noida, checked Gujjar leader's blood pressure and prescribed him medicines.

He said he would take Bainsla to an isolated place for a proper check up.

Bainsla smiled as his personal physician examined him. "I feel much better now as he is here. Hopefully I will recover soon," the Gujjar leader told reporters after the check up.

To a question, he said his lawyer would appear on his behalf in the court on May 30. The court has summoned him in connection with the ongoing Gujjars stir.
