New Delhi: A Kingfisher aircraft carrying Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and 150 other passengers on Saturday made an emergency landing here after a bird hit while taking off for Varanasi.
According to an airport official, Lalu Prasad then left for Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh by Indian Airlines. Delhi and Mumbai airports have witnessed at least 45 bird hits this year.
