New Delhi: A 19-year-old woman from Jharkhand, who works as a domestic help here, was allegedly raped by two men, police said Saturday.

”Sunita (name changed) alleged that she was raped by Sanjay and Vinod on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday," a police officer said.

The victim as well as the accused are residents of Nangloi area of the capital.

“She revealed that the accused had threatened dire consequences if she informed the police. She approached the police yesterday (Friday) to register her complaint,” the officer added.

The accused are missing since the incident.

“The victim is from Jharkhand and works as domestic help in Nangloi,” the official said.
