New Delhi: The Rashtrapati Bhavan Tuesday denied that the food served at the banquet in honour of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was "not wholesome".
"This is to state that this was not the case. On the contrary, it was well appreciated and no complaint, whatsoever, was received in this regard," a statement from the presidential palace said.
The Syrian president visited India from June 17 to 21.
