Thursday, June 26, 2008 21:43 [IST]

Jammu: A Pakistan Army helicopter Thursday afternoon intruded into Indian territory in Jammu and Kashmir's Abdullian sector along the international border, Indian officials said.

The chopper flew about half a kilometre inside Indian territory and hovered for two to three minutes, said the officials of the paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF).

The helicopter was carrying four people, they said, adding that the intrusion took place 35 km west of Jammu.

The intrusion had been reported to the BSF headquarters in New Delhi, the officials said.
