LTTE leader Karuna back in Colombo: media

Colombo: Former Tamil Tigers commander and leader of breakaway faction TMVP, Vinayagamoothy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman arrived here Thursday from Britain, media reports here quoted party spokesman Azarth Maulana as saying.

Karuna Amman returned to the country from Britain after authorities there found him guilty of illegal entry allegedly on a diplomatic passport. He served nine months imprisonment in Britain.

The Sri Lankan authorities are yet to comment on the media reports.
