Noida college student killed in accident

Noida: A second-year law student of the Amity University here was killed and her classmate was injured when a rickshaw they were riding in was hit by a tractor Monday, the police said.

Surbhi Shah and Smita Raj Kumar were coming from the gate number four of the university campus when the accident occurred at 6.00 p.m.

Superintendent of police Ashok Tripathi said the local residents took the two injured girls to Vinayak Hospital where Shah succumbed to her injuries. Kumar is still in the hospital but her condition is said to be stable.
