Krishnagiri (TN): Three persons drowned when the coracle in which they were sailing capsized in a reservoir near Hosur in Krishnagiri district, police said today.
A group of seven members from Bangalore had visited Kelavarapalli reservoir near Hosur on Sunday evening and the coracle in which the group was sailing capsized.
While four swam to safety, three others drowned. Krishnagiri district police and fire service personnel were able to recover one body on Monday evening while other two bodies are yet to be traced.
