MAYSAN PROVINCE: Three suspected insurgents were killed and one captured by the Iraqi forces. Several mortar bombs were confiscated in the Salam district of the southeastern Maysan province, Defence Ministry said.
The ministry also described an insurgent headquarterd which was discovered in another area of Maysan province. Weapons, maps, tapes, and other intelligence related to movements of an Iraqi army unit were found here.
