Sonepat: A young housewife was run over and killed by a train between Sonepat and Harsana Kalan railway staton near here today police said.

According to the GRP sources, she was strolling along the railway track when she was trapped by the running train.

She was identified as Urmila of Delhi who had come to Sonepat for tiding the Rakhi to her brother in Baba colony, Sonepat.

The GRP has sent the body for the postmortem examination.
