BANGALORE: Veteran freedom fighter Gowramma died here today, according to her family sources. She was 98 and is survived by a son and three daughters.

Former Karnataka Minister and Chairman of the Loka Shikshana Trust, Haranahalli Ramaswamy is one of the sons-in-law of Gowramma, who had taken active part in civil disobedience movement during the freedom struggle.
