Top official of PF body held

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday nabbed an assistant commissioner of the employees provident fund organisation (EPFO) red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs3 lakh from a builder on Friday.

According to CBI superintendent Pravin Salunke, assistant commissioner, Paritosh Kumar and three staff members Vijay Ramarao, Surinder Dutta and Mahanto were arrested after a trap was laid in the EPF office in Vashi.

The arrested would be produced before the special CBI court on Saturday.
