Karimganj: Two persons were killed and ten others seriously injured when their vehicle fell into a roadside gorge in South Assam's Karimganj district along Mizoram last night.

Twelve persons were travelling from Karimganj town to Aizawl in Mizoram when their vehicle lost control and fell down a 120 feet deep gorge at Kanpoi village near Kolasib around 8.30 pm killing the two on the spot, official sources today said.

The injured were rescued and taken to civil hospital in Aizawl, while efforts were on to haul up the vehicle, the sources said.
