Jaipur:  Rajasthan Human Rights Commission (HRC) has asked the people, students and children to take a pledge to abide by the fundamental duties described in the constitution.

In a circular issued to all schools, colleges and NGOs, the commission has appealed to popularise the fundamental duties among the students and the public enshrined in the constitution.

The commission has asked the people and students to make a habit to recite the ten fundamental duties every morning described in the Article saying " I am proud to be an Indian and with all honesty I shall abide by the constitution and ensure to follow it sincerely for making the country better".

The Chairman of the Commission, Justice (retd) N K Jain told PTI that the Commission has sent copies of the circular in this regard. He said that it has become necessary for the students and the public to know about their fundamental duties and follow it for betterment of the society and the country.
