Shillong: A car lifting gang operating in Meghalaya, assam and Manipur was bustedhere with the arrest of six miscreants.

The Khasi Student Union activists caught them and from Ladrymbai and Khliehriat in Jaintia Hills district yesterday and handed them over to police.

The student activists also recovered sharp weapons from them.

Search was on by police to nab other gang members.
