Ranchi:Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief Shibu Soren was Wednesday sworn in as Jharkhand chief minister.

Governor Syed Sibte Razi administered the oath of office to Soren at a ceremony in the Raj Bhavan here in the afternoon.

Soren's party had staked claim to forming the government Monday, two days after Madhu Koda stepped down as chief minister.
