Kota (Rajasthan): Medical graduates who are desirous of joining Rajasthan government service as doctors will have to do at least five years of service in rural areas in the state.
"The policy of five years rural stint for medical graduates willing to join government as doctors has been finalised. No one will succeed in changing it," Rajasthan Health Minister Narpat Singh Rajavi said during a function to lay foundation stone of Mangalan Chikatsalaya at Ramganjmandi yesterday.
Interviews for recruitment of 1,380 medical practitioners have already been completed, he said.
Around 400-500 ambulances, including eight in Kota, will start operating in the state shortly for which Rs 55 crore had already been sanctioned by the state government, he added. Source : PTI
