Wednesday, August 27, 2008 19:51 [IST]
Chennai:As many as 43 students from Kerala were admitted to the Government General Hospital here last night after they vomited and complained of diarrhoea.

Police said the students decided not to have food cooked at the school near pallavan salai where they were staying and ate from roadside vendors.

They had come to Chennai to take part in an exhibition held by CBSE schools of southern states at Kendriya Vidyalaya.

About 120 students from Kerala took part in the meet.

A case has been registered and further investigations were on, police said.
