TRIPOLI - The hijackers of a Sudanese airliner that was forced to land in Libya surrendered on Wednesday following negotiations with the Libyan authorities, state news agency Jana reported.
"The two hijackers were transported to one of the halls at Kufrah airport after giving themselves up," the Libyan news agency cited aviation authority head Mohamed Shlibek as saying.
The hijackers earlier freed all passengers aboard the plane but had kept six crew members hostage. Source : Reuters
