Thursday, August 28, 2008 10:43 [IST]
BANGALORE: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general Secretary Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Vadhra made a secret visit to Bangalore in connection with school admission of the latters children.

Sources said the two had visited the elite Rishi Valley School regarding admission formalities.

So hush-hush was this visit that the Bangalore police were kept in the dark even after the two had returned to New Delhi, according to sources in the Congress.

They told DNA that Priyanka and Rahul arrived in Bangalore at about 9 am on Tuesday and left the city on Wednesday evening, but no details were available about the arrival or departure flight schedules.

However, sources denied that any protocol was broken as the two are cover under the Z-Plus category security and a well-equipped National Security Guard (NSG) team had escorted the two throughout their stay in Bangalore.

Attempts to reach the the Rishi Valley School authorities to find out details about Priyankas childrens admission proved futile.
