Hyderabad:In continuing migrations from the main opposition TDP to Chiranjeevi s Praja Rajyam Party, senior leader T Sitaram today quit the party, citing TDPP leader K Yerran Naidu s alleged autocratic behaviour as the reason for his resignation from the party.
Sitaram, a former minister in Chandrababu Naidu government and official spokesperson, joined Praja Rajyam in the presence of Chiranjeevi.
Training his guns at his bete noire Yerran Naidu, Sitaram alleged that the TDP s leader in Parliament did not allow other leaders to grow in Srikakulam district.
The TDP Chief failed to take action against Yerran Naidu, he alleged.
Sitaram said he liked Praja Rajyam s thrust areas of backward classes empowerment and Chiranjeevi s leadership.
Earlier, several senior TDP leaders including former Minister K Vidyadhara Rao, former MP B Nagi Reddy and his wife Shobha quit the party and joined Praja Rajyam. Source : PTI
