| Earthquake hits northwestern Pakistan |

Islamabad:Earthhquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted northwstern Pakistan Friday, The News daily reported. Tremors were also felt in the capital Islamabad, Muzzafarabad, Abbotabad, Chitral, Lahore, Malakand and Mingora, said the report. The meteorology department believes the epicentre was in the Hindukush mountain range of Afghanistan. There are no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Source : DNA |
