Mumbai: Searches were carried out on the Gujarat bound Karnavati Express today following an anonymous call claiming that a bomb has been planted in the train.

The train was halted at suburban Borivali railway station and all the passengers were asked to vacate after which officials from the Bomb Disposal Squad conducted searches in the train. However, they did not find any explosive.

The control room at Mumbai Central station received the hoax call a little after the train left the station.
