MP: Rs227.80cr sanctioned to set up Ashram shalas

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government has approved a proposal for setting up 20 new Ashram Shalas besides sanctioning an increase of seats in the excisting ones.

For this purpose, Rs 227.80 crore has been sanctioned to the Tribal Welfare department, an official release said. The twenty new Ashram Shalas, with 50 seats each, will be set up in 16 districts. 79 Shalas in 15 districts will increase seats by a total of 1,000, it added.
