PUNE: A head-on collision between an ASIAD bus and a jeep killed five persons and injured four others near Umbraj on Pune-Banglore highway, police said today. All victims were travelling in the jeep. The bus was travelling from Chiplun to Pune, police added. In another mishap on Pune-Ahemednagar road, a flock of sheep numbering 22 was killed when a tanker rammed into it, police said. The accident occurred when the owner of the sheep was crossing the road.
