Tripura donates Rs 25 lakh to Bihar

AGARTALA: Tripura government has donated Rs 25 lakh as aid for the victims of flood in Bihar, which is facing one of its worst calamities, official sources said here on Tuesday.

Expressing deep sympathy to the flood victims, a senior official said the Tripura government had also appealed to the people to extend their hand to help the hapless in Bihar.

"This is a national disaster. Bihar did not witness such a terrible flood in the last 50 years, every body should extend help to the people of Bihar," the official said.
