NEW DELHI: Leading retail chain Reliance Retail on Tuesday announced the opening of its first hypermarket-- Reliance Mart in the NCR region.

The new hypermarket at Crown Interior Mall in Faridabad is spread across an area of one lakh sq ft and would have a product range of over 40,000 products, the company statement said.

"The launch of Reliance Mart at Faridabad, will provide an international shopping experience to all our customers at unmatched affordability, guaranteed quality and choice of products and services. The Reliance Mart marks another milestone in our effort to unleash the retail revolution in India," Reliance Retail President and CEO (Operations and Strategy) Raghu Pillai said.

The launch of the hypermarket in the NCR is a follow up to opening of such stores in cities like Tirupati, Pune, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jamnagar.

The store would have a wide array of products in various category ranging from fresh produce, daily needs, home, books and music, gifts and toys, footwear, eyewear, cosmetics and fragrances, furniture, furnishing and decor, computers and entertainment, health and wellness products.
