8 CAPD inspectors among 12 arrested

Jammu: Twelve persons, including eight Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) inspectors, were today arrested here for allegedly colluding with dealers selling kerosene oil in black market in Jammu city.

The police teams raided several places in Bagg-e-Bahu and Gujjar Nagar areas and seized two kerosene oil tankers and arrested those selling kerosene oil at exorbitant rates, police said.

Eight CAPD inspectors were among 12 people arrested from the two places, they said, adding cases against them have been registered.
