Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police today recovered one-and-a-half kilogram of explosives from a Srinagar-bound passenger bus in Bandipora district, police said.
The explosives were seized from a private minibus during vehicle-check at Sumbal, near here.
The vehicle was proceeding to Srinagar from North Kashmir township of Sopore. The nature of the explosives is yet to be verified, police added.
Though no one was arrested, five persons, including the driver and the conductor, were taken into custody for questioning, officials sources said. Source : PTI
