No third front in near future, says Antony
Sunday, September 28, 2008 09:03 [IST]
Kottayam: Stressing the need for strengthening Congress, Defence Minister A K Antony today said the third front was not going to hoist its flag in the near future.

Addressing a public meeting at the Thirunakkara ground here, organised by the District Congress Committee, Antony said INC has the capacity to overpower and supress communal organisations.

Antony said though the government has imposed several measures to curb militants activities still "we have to be more cautious". Their activities were going on in interior areas and less populated places like seashore.

Earlier, the minister launched Pratichaya brought out by Kerala Congress (M) as its mouthpiece publication in a politico-social weekly format at a function at the CSI Retreat centre here.
