New Delhi: The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi has arrested 12 officials of the Delhi government and New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on charges of corruption, a senior ACB officer said Monday.

"The officials belong to various departments which include, health, sanitation, labour and enforcement. They are being interrogated and more arrests are likely," the ACB officer added.

"They used to take between Rs.500 and Rs.50,000 from shopkeepers every month as bribes," a source said.
