UN Secretary General to visit India

United Nations: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is expected to visit India towards the end of this month or early November.

This was announced by United Nations chief spokesperson Michele Montas who said that dates for the visit would be announced shortly.

To a question, she said Ban will be in Manila for a conference on migration being held from Oct 27 to 30."Of course on that trip, there is also India and Bangladesh," Montas said, adding that exact dates would be announced shortly.
