Administrative reshuffle in J&K

Srinagar: An administrative reshuffle was ordered with immediate effect by Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said today.

Malik Manzoor Ahmad, Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes has been made a member of services selection board, he said. Ahmad will replace Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, who has been made Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Administration), Kashmir. Nimal Sharma, Director Handlooms has been transferred and posted as Director Command Area Development, Jammu replacing Bashir Ahmad Dar, who has been made Incharge Director Law Enforcement.

T Angchok, special secretary to government science and technology department will take charge as additional district development commissioner, Jammu replacing Charanjit Singh, who will function as Managing Director JK Handloom Development Corporation.

Hemant Kumar Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua has been appointed as Director Area Planning and ex-officio Special Secretary to Government, Planning and Development Department.

Mahmood Rana, presently attached to the General Administration Department has been posted as Director, Libraries vice Ghulam Hassan Khan, who will function as director handlooms on ex-cadre basis.
