Srinagar:Security forces seized half-a-kg RDX from a mini-bus during checking of vehicles in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said here on Wednesday.

Five people, including the driver and the conductor of the mini-bus, were detained for questioning, he said adding the seizure was effected last evening.

Besides the RDX, a detonator was recovered during search of the vehicle at Wussan Khoi in Pattan area.

In another incident, an unidentified militant was killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Kupwara districts Lalpora area on Tuesday evening.

An AK rifle, four magazines and 79 rounds of ammunition were recovered from him.
