New Delhi: One person was drowned and some others were feared missing after they fell into the Yamuna river in north-east Delhi today while participating in Dusshera festivities.

The incident took place in Sonia Vihar at around 12:30 PM when a fair was organised at the banks of the Yamuna, police said.

The body of one Jitender was fished out by police this evening, they said.
