NKorea bans UN staff from nuke complex: Diplomat
Thursday, October 09, 2008 21:09 [IST]
Vienna: Diplomats say that North Korea has put all of its Yongbyon nuclear facilities off limits to inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The diplomats say the decision was made recently but declined to offer details.

The reported move expands the area that IAEA inspectors are no longer allowed to monitor. Pyongyang barred agency personnel from its plutonium reprocessing facility at Yongbyon last month, as it made good on threats to restart its weapons-producing atomic program.

The diplomats demanded anonymity today because their information was confidential.
