Gwalior: Six children, including five girls, were killed today when a clay mine caved in at Sasan village, about 70 km away from here, police said.
A group of seven children, aged between 10-14 years, went to the nearby mine to collect clay and were trapped in the mine when it caved in, they said. While six of them identified as Jitendra, Rani, Preeti, Sapna, Puja and Vimmo died on the spot, a girl named Lado was saved by the villagers, police said.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on, they added.
