Police bust gang involved in vehicle theft

Lucknow: Police has busted a gang allegedly involved in vehicle theft and arrested four persons in Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, sources said today.

On a tip-off, four persons were arrested by a police team in Farsaiya village of Kheri district while they were going to Nepal to sell stolen vehicles, they said.

Three vehicles, Nepali currency and four country-made pistols were recovered from their possession.

During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in vehicle theft and selling it to criminals in Nepal, they said.
