New Delhi: Northern Railway has decided to increase the passenger carrying capacity of some sought-after trains with the addition of extra coaches during the ensuing Deepawali and Chhat festivals.

Extra coaches will be attached with immediate effect in trains like Chhapra-Durg express, Gorakhpur-Jammu Tawi express, Jammu Tawi-Barauni Express and Gorakhpur-Yashwantpur Express.

Additonal coaches will also be included in trains such as Lucknow-Jabalpur Express, Manduadih-Lucknow express and Chhapra-Kanpur Anwarganj Express.

The extra coaches of sleeper class and second sleeper class will remain attached to the above said trains till the second week of November.
