Bomb hoax at Byculla station

Mumbai: Searches were conducted today at the Byculla station after the railway police received a call claiming that a bomb has been planted there.

The call was received at the Byculla railway police station in the afternoon claiming that the station would blow up soon.

Following this, the Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad arrived at the station on the central line and conducted searches and the bomb threat was declared as a hoax.

However, train services remained unaffected.
