Kidwai stresses on role of hospital administrators

Chandigarh: Haryana Governor Dr. A. R. Kidwai today stressed the role of Hospital Administrators in current health scenario.

"With the advancement of medical science and fast changing technologies in Health care the role of hospital administrators has become very vital in efficient and effective management of hospitals", Dr Kidwai said while speaking at the second National Conference on Hospital Administration-Recent Trends at the Bhargwa Auditorium in PGIMER, Chandigarh after inaugurating the two day conference organized by the Department of Hospital Administration, attended by over 300 delegates from all parts of country.

He said that hospital administrators should also keep in mind the needs of the patients during formulation of strategies and all efforts should be patient centric.

While addressing the conference, Prof. K. K Talwar, Director PGI said that as health care industry was expanding, the role of hospital administrator will become more challenging and in future there will be more need of qualified hospital administrators.
