20 IAS, 12 PCS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow: In yet another reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 20 IAS officers including two District Magistrates and 12 PCS officers, according to an official release here.

Prominent among those who have been transferred include Housing Commissioner Anil Sant and Trade Tax Commissioner Deepak Kumar, who have swapped places while Prashant Trivedi has been made Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow.

District Magistrate Maharajganj Amit Gupta, has been transfered to Firozabad in the same capacity while Umesh Chandra Tewari, who was on the wait list, has been made District Magistrate Maharajganj.

Besides, twelve PCS officers have also been transferred.
