Two ancient Jain idols stolen in Kota

Kota: Two ancient metallic idols were stolen from a Jain Temple in Ridhi-Sidhi Nagar locality here last night, police said today.

Gold and Silver ornaments of these statues worth Rs 80,000 and the donation box (daan peti) was also stolen by robbers, they said.

The two statues, one of God Suparshvanath and another of Parshvanath was installed in the month of February this year and were two hundred years old, president of Sakal Digamber Jain Samaj Samiti, Rajmal Pataudi said.
