Yemen, Egypt discuss how to combat Red Sea piracy

Sana'a: Yemen and Egypt discussed the importance of combating piracy in Red Sea through Arab and regional efforts. Minister of Transport Khalid al-Wazir held talks with Egyptian ambassador to Sana'a Mohammed Mursi and discussed aspects of cooperation in air, sea and land transport.

They talked about improving cooperation between the two countries according to bilateral protocols and agreements in air and sea navigation.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed what has been adopted to raise the level of aviation services between both countries in addition to possibility of investment in land transport.

Minister al-Wazir welcomed Egyptian investment in Yemen in maritime navigation, seaport services and land transport.
