One killed, two injured in road mishaps

Srinagar: A boy was killed and two others including a youth were injured in three road mishaps in Kashmir today.

The deceased has been identified as seven-year-old Danish Ahmad Sheikh, who was critically injured when he was hit by a sumo outside his house at Thajiwarn in Anantnag today.

According to the police spokesman, Danish succumbed on way to hospital.

He said Muzamil Hussain Abasi (15) was critically injured, when a sumo hit him at Darul-uloom Sheri in Baramulla district. Abasi was shifted to district hospital Baramulla for treatment.

In another mishap, a motorcyclist hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Bhat in Kulgam district today. Bhat has been hospitalised and the police has registered a case in this regard.
