Punjab declares holiday for second half

Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has declared holiday for the second half today in Government officers, Corporations, Boards and Educational institutions and Chandigarh so that employees could take part in Nagar Kirtan procession going to be held today in respect of Birth day (Parkash Utsav) of Mahan-rishi, Valmiki.

An official spokesman said this here that the half day will be in all offices of Government, Corporation, Boards and Educational institutions.
