Minors held with fake currency worth Rs 1 lakh

Mumbai: The railway police on Tuesday arrested two minors for possessing fake currecny notes worth Rs one lakh.

The two boys both 15-years-old were arrested from the booking hall at the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) with a bag containing the notes.

Fake currency notes worth Rs 1,07,500 was seized from the two boys who hail from Bihar, senior police inspector Atul Shirsagar said.

They have been staying in Mumbai since a month and have been handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further investigations.
